Farmer’s Market: Night Market
To be filed under: Fun things to do in Nashville with small children. Or big children, I’m sure.
On Friday evening, we braved the elements (crazy rain) and checked out the Night Market event at our lovely (and huge) farmer’s market. The rain didn’t seem to deter anyone, as there was NOwhere to park when we got there around 7:15. We didn’t mind parking far away, though, because it gave us a chance to test the big-boy compartment in Jett’s stroller. This was the first time we didn’t latch his carseat onto the top, and he really seemed to love it! I don’t blame him, though… it’s probably a lot more fun facing forward than it is to face backwards, with only our ugly mugs to view.
The Night Market was quite a blast, though! Some of our favorite things:
Jett: Trying out his new stroller situation, the huge fans, new people/sights/sounds/smells…
Jett’s mom & dad: Just getting out and about, browsing the produce and other goods, catching up with friends, delicious food (Linny and I had Indian, while Ryan opted for Greek)…
So, yeah… so much fun! I definitely recommend this event - for all ages!
