Making good of my Trader Joe’s finds!

Jett and I made a trip to TJ’s on Saturday after dropping off Ryan at work. It was actually after running back home to get Ryan’s phone, which he had forgotten, then dropping off the phone, but that’s beside the point, right? ;)

If you’re wondering why I go on and on about TJ’s, it’s simply because the place is amazing. They make it incredibly easy to eat healthy/well. And, while I love Whole Foods, TJ’s is incredibly less expensive.

We got lots of goodies on Saturday - snacks (almonds, dried cherries, dried seaweed snack, bananas, apples with fleur de sel caramel sauce), and lunch/dinner things (bread for sandwiches, frozen chicken breasts, frozen lasagna, brown rice/cukes/avocados/ginger dressing to make yummy rice bowls)… So exciting!

One of my favorite discoveries at TJ’s is the frozen cubes of chopped garlic and herbs… What a genius idea! I try to always have garlic and basil on hand to throw in sauces, sautees, etc. for a fresh pop of flavor.

The above picture includes a couple of my current favorite things: egg and avocado slices on toast, and apple slices with fleur de sel caramel sauce - so delish!

I’m always looking for things to add to my TJ’s staples list… One of the posts from dinneralovestory.com introduced me to some great finds. Is there anything I’m missing out on?
