We just got back from Jett’s first road trip last night! Nine days and five states… Oh my!
There’s so much to blog about, I have no clue where to start… I suppose the end is as good of a place as any.
We got back around 10 p.m. after nine long hours on the road. Jett was quite a trooper, but I could definitely tell he was ready to get out of the car (who wouldn’t be?). Traveling with a six-month-old is quite an adventure, and we sure learned lots! I definitely had lots of practice as the “car clown”, as Linny calls it, and I now know you can never bring too many distractions (books! movies! toys! iPad games!) on a road trip.
One of the best parts of the end of the road trip was when we walked into Jett’s room last night… He immediately lit up and smiled like crazy until he fell asleep. I think we were all pretty excited to be home!
