Birchbox time!
I received my August Birchbox yesterday… Finally. Ali and Linny have had theirs for quite a few days now, so I was patiently awaiting the arrival of mine.
As usual, it was worth the wait. I mean, it wasn’t as awesome as my June and July boxes, but awesome enough nevertheless… Plus, the anticipation of this little gift is worth the $10, I think.
Here’s what I got this month:
Schlick Hydro Silk razor
Stila Smudge Stick waterproof eye liner in stargazer
Yu-Be moisturizing skin cream
Caldrea hand soap
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy La Fleur
So far, I’ve only tried the perfume, and it’s great! I love Caldrea products, so I’m looking forward to trying the hand soap, and I will definitely use the razor. I don’t wear eye liner very often, but this one seems great (and I believe it’s a full-size version, which retails for $20 - two times the monthly Birchbox membership fee!), so I’ll definitely use it on date night. The Yu-Be cream sounds awesome, but it contains camphor, so I believe I’ll just save it for when I’m not breastfeeding (just to be safe!).
So, yeah… Another great month! I’m already looking forward to my September box!
Oh, and I thought I’d mention that I’m STILL using my stretch mark cream sample from my June box! It seems to be working, as the lines are slowly fading. Thanks, Birchbox! :)
