15, 16, 17, EIGHTEEN months!

To say that the moving process has thrown us out of whack would be an understatement! Therefore, the fact that I'm MONTHS behind in posting about Jett's milestones shouldn't be surprising! :)

I'm trying to get organized, but for the time being, I'm glad I at least have my notes on my iPhone, where I've jotted down some important milestones to remember! They are as follows:

May:
Talking! A car fell from his race car track and I said, "Uh oh! It fell!"... He looked at me and said, "It fell!"
He also took my flip flop off my foot and said, "Shoe"! Ha!
He began using items (including cell phones, of course) as phones, and "talked" to people...
His favorite words are "kitty" (pronounced "key"), "daddy", "hi", "bye", "shoe", "yes" and "cheese".
Toward the end of May, he was standing up on his own and raising his arms.
He was outside during a big storm, pointed at the rain, and said, "water".
Toward the end of the month, he started saying "teeth" and understood what it meant.

June:
Standing on his own very well... Dancing lots...
Playing the bass guitar and singing!
Ear infection #2 :(
Really seeming to say things now, all the time... We just have to listen!
Starting to point out things (monkey, elephant, dog, bunny) in books, as well as daddy's bracelet...
Took EIGHT steps on 6/22!

July:
By mid month, really walking! And walking more than crawling by the end of the month...
Climbing on EVERYTHING!
Jumping!

So, those are my rough notes on the month... I can't believe 19 months is almost here! The time is flying - before we know it, he'll be TWO!
