Kansas City, Kansas City there we went...

Happy Monday!

We had such a lovely weekend... It ended with a super awesome housewarming party, planned and attended by the most thoughtful family and friends. We felt "at home" before, but now our home feels like it's full of even more love than before!

I wanted to share some pics from our recent trip to Kansas City... We were only there for about 24 hours, but had a blast and checked out some fun spots! Can't wait to go back!

Our first stop was Grinders, where we had the MOST delicious sandwiches and enjoyed some tasty beer. Since the Boulevard brewery is in KC, I enjoyed a Single-Wide IPA. I'm so glad I did, since I discovered a new favorite!

After lunch, we checked out the backyard, where the Kansas City Crossroads concerts are held... Would love to check out a show there one of these days!

We also made a stop at Kaleidoscope, which was so AWESOME. Jett absolutely loved it, and the fact that such an amazing place for kids was free completely blew my mind. I'd definitely make a stop at Kaleidoscope if you are in the area and have little ones!

A perk about Kaleidoscope is that it's connected to Crown Center, so (naturally), we did a bit of shopping after getting our art on.

Later in the afternoon, we met up with more family and walked to the Westport area, which was so fun! We made our first stop at Harpo's, and had a yummy dinner at The Foundry (where Ryan spotted Paul Rudd!).

The next morning, we had a delicious breakfast at The City Diner, and afterwards walked around the fantastic farmer's market across the street. I spent less than $15 and came home with three vintage wooden soda crates, two vintage maps, and two spices. Score!
