Cutest thing ever, huh? My sister, nanny-extraordinaire, has given BW a very special gift… These booties are just *part* of it! She also gave him a blanket and hat, all of which she knitted! So talented!
When she gave them to me, she said, “I had a little extra yarn, so I went ahead and made booties and a hat too.” Um, what?! She said it like it was a piece of cake. I know how to knit… but my knitting projects usually turn out quite differently (I’ve tried to make quite a few scarves that just end up looking like weird pot-holders. Or blankets for Barbie or something). These gifts, on the other hand, are perfect. I love them!
When she gave us the booties, she mentioned that they might be a little on the girly side… I disagree! I think they’ll be perfect for him to wear over socks in the cold January, February and March days ahead. So, so, so sweet.
She’s also mentioned that she’s in the process of knitting a few infinity scarves… So, be really, really nice to her, and maybe you’ll get one in your stocking this Christmas!
