Obviously, the art of photography and the storage of photos has dramatically changed over the past decade. The dusty photo albums under my parents’ coffee table seem like a think of the past, which is so sad because I really enjoying taking a trip down memory lane, curled up with a cup of coffee and one of the many albums, when I visit.
As Ryan and I have easily taken more than 1,500 photos since Jett was born, I recognize the advantages of technology, but I’m also at a loss as to how to store and display these photos of my son’s precious first months.
Obviously, I’ll store them on my computer, but I’m recognizing the need for an external hard drive more than ever now. It seems like it’d be so easy to lose these digital photos! Also, do I use a service like Snapfish so that I can order prints of my pictures? If so, which is the best company to use? These are some of the things I’ve been thinking about lately, as I’m excited to start organizing some of our photos… Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
