We had so much fun at the zoo, I wanted to post another pic!

Also, I’ve been wondering lately: Are we scared of things because the things are actually scary, or because “they” told us they’re scary?

Case in point: we checked out the Dino Trek exhibit at the zoo, and even though Jett woke up from a nap as we were walking through it, he didn’t flinch. The dinosaur sounds, huge new creatures and shrieks from other kids didn’t seem to bother him. I’m sure it was just an ordinary day for him, since, at four months, everything is as new and exciting as the last thing. So, if we never tell him that T-Rex is “scary”, will he never run at the sound of his roar like the others?

And am I just scared of the dark (and everything else) because “they” told me it was scary?
