Two (unrelated) tips from my Memorial Day weekend (so far):
1) Make tacos and keep some of the veggies for the next morning’s omelet! We had tacos last night, and today I had an omelet with tomatoes, green onions and cilantro (and pepper jack) - yum! It’s super easy to just throw it all together when you don’t have to do any washing/chopping. If only I would’ve saved some of the fresh guacamole!
This could be done with lots if different veggies (peppers and onions, anyone?)…
2) I have a newfound love for vinegar - as a cleaning product! It’s nontoxic and kills gems - who could ask for anything more? This morning, I used it on my upstairs shower, which is notorious for harboring mold and mildew… The vinegar and water solution I used seemed to work as well (or better) than bleach. And it’s nice to not worry about all the chemicals in traditional cleaning products, especially with a baby around!
That’s all (for now).
