Last night, this momma got to go out and enjoy a little music! Linny, Ali, Nickie and I went to the Josh Ritter show at Mercy Lounge! So fun! It was crowded… And so hot… But all of that seemed to fade to the background when Josh took the stage. He played for more than an hour and a half and included some of my faves - like ‘Girl in the War’ and ‘Wolves’ - in his setlist. This was the second time I’ve seen him, and he’s just as wonderful - and happy - as ever. He’s so happy! We could all probably learn a thing or two from the guy.
Aside from the show, last night was pretty awesome. I somehow managed to feel like I had everything under control before I walked out the door… We had all eaten dinner, the bottles were washed, a load of laundry had been started, ‘Goodnight Moon’ had been read, and Jett was asleep in his crib!
Yay for fun concerts with friends! So rejuvenating! :)
