Linny has been raving about a smoothie she's been making for dinner lately...
I decided to make my version of it (it's green, so naturally, I'm calling it 'Hulk Shake') this morning. And while I probably won't be making it for dinner anytime soon, I found it quite suitable for breakfast.
Here's how I made it:
- First, I blended a couple handfuls of spinach with approximately a cup of milk...
- When that was smooth, I added a banana, a heaping tablespoon of peanut butter, a couple tablespoons of Greek yogurt, a dash of cinnamon and a handful of ice (Linny uses a chopped, frozen banana instead of ice, but I didn't have any frozen bananas)...
- After all the ingredients were added, I gave it a whirl in the blender, and voila... A Hulk Shake!
Quite delicious, and I can only imaging how healthy... And it has kept me satisfied all morning!
Oh, and Jett liked it too! I think he might want his own next time. :)
